Prayer Challenge

Prayer Challenge- Day 2

Day 2

Name of God to proclaim and focus your worship to: Jesus (Name above all Names)

The name Jesus is derived from the Hebrew name Yeshua, which is based on the Semitic root y-š-ʕ (Hebrew: ישע‎), meaning “to deliver; to rescue.

Scripture Promise to claim: Psalm 72:12-14 “For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.

Prayer prompt: Read the promise above; Ask Jesus to reveal to you areas in your life where you need His deliverance and rescue. Listen and journal a prayer of response. Pray for those God puts on your heart that are needy, afflicted and oppressed. Remember there is power in the Name of Jesus!
