Day 5
Name of God to proclaim and focus your worship to: Yahweh M’Kaddesh (The Lord sanctifies)

The word Kaddesh means holy, to dedicate, set apart, sanctify. We find this name in Leviticus 20:8. God sets us apart to deliver us and bring us into the Holy Place. In the Old Testament laws and commands were to guide the Israelites towards holiness. Now we are sanctified through the blood of Jesus (Colossians 1:22). We cannot attain holiness in our own strength. What we cannot achieve, He is willing to do inside of us if we allow Him to!
Scripture Promise to claim: 1 Corinthians 6:11″ And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”
Read the promise above; Thank Jesus for His sanctification. Ask him what are the areas that He is currently working on to sanctify you; areas where your obedience, repentance and cooperation with His Spirit are necessary to quicken the process. Listen and journal a prayer of response. Pray for those God puts on your heart that are struggling with the sanctification process and pray this verse for them; “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23
