Day 22
Name of God to proclaim and focus your worship to: El Hakkavod (hak·kā·ḇōḏ) – The God of Glory
We see this name in Psalm 29:3 “the God of glory thunders” The Hebrew word kavod originally meant “heavy, weighty,” like armor used in battle. It has also been linked with honor, dignity, and power, and it eventually came to mean “glory”.

God’s glory has all of these elements. We read in Exodus (33-34)that Moses was able to get a glimpse of God’s glory and could only show others behind a veil, but today we can see God’s glory in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 3:17-18) and are transformed to reveal it to others. No veil necessary!
Scripture Promise to claim: 2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
Read the promise above; today spend some time reading Psalm 29 and meditating on it. Ask God how you can reflect God’s image and glory to those around you?
Listen and journal a prayer of response. Pray for those God puts on your heart that need their eyes opened to the Glory of God all around them which leads to transformation.
