Prayer Challenge- Day 27

Day 27

Name of God to proclaim and focus your worship to: Elohei Ma’uzzi (el-o-heem’ mä·ōz’)- God of my strength

Psalm 43:2 says “For thou art the God of my strength” and Psalm 59:9 says “O my Strength, I watch for you.” Then in 59:17 it says “O my Strength, I sing praise to you; you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God.” David shows us that there is only One who is the source of strength for all of life’s challenges. David gave credit where credit was due. It was not David’s strength that killed Goliath, fought and won battles, and kept him going when he was on the run from Saul. It was Elohei Ma’uzzi. If David realized that He is the source, so should we.

You might be struggling with the feelings of weakness today, trying to muster enough strength to get through the next hour, day, week or month. This is when you must remember that God is Elohei Ma’uzzi and, therefore, promises to be your strength when you call on Him. He is the God of Strength who loves you and longs to move in and through your life. Will you trust Him more deeply today and allow His joy to be your strength?

Scripture Promise to claim:  Psalm 138:3 “As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.”

Read the promise above; Take time to read the following verses throughout your day: Ps. 140:7, 2 Sam. 22:3, Habakkuk 3:19, Is. 12:2, Is. 41:10. Then, I encourage you to thank God for being your strength. Think of all the times you were at your weakest moments and He gave you the strength to keep pushing. Ask God how He will be your strength today.

Listen and journal a prayer of response. Pray for those God puts on your heart that need the strength only God gives to get them through the challenges they are in right now.
