Day 29
Name of God to proclaim and focus your worship to: Yahweh Rophe (yah-WEH ro-FEH) – The Lord Who Heals

This name is found in Exodus 15:26 and says “For I am the Lord, your healer.” God had just healed the water by turning it from bitter to sweet, making it drinkable, and then gave the people a rule with a promise. He said that if they diligently listen to His voice and keep all the words He had spoken to them, He would not let them get sick like Egyptians had been during the plagues (Exodus 9:8-12).
The root of the Hebrew word “Rophe” refers to more than just physical healing. It refers to wholeness of the entire person – body, mind, and soul. He wants us to know that He is the healer of all; nations, land, water along with you and me.
Your gracious God longs to heal you in a way that enables you to love Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Just call on YAHWEH ROPHE today. Then remember to listen to His voice with a heart ready to obey. You have a God who heals!
Scripture Promise to claim: Psalm 103:2-3 “Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.”
Read the promise above; ask the Holy Spirit to stir within you the desire to know Yahweh Rophe. Ask God if there is a link between obedience and your physical and/or spiritual health.
Listen and journal a prayer of response. Pray for those God puts on your heart that need healing, spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
