Prayer Challenge- Day 31

Day 31

Name of God to proclaim and focus your worship to: Aleph and Tav or Alpha and the Omega – The Beginning and the End

The Hebrew letters Aleph and Tav correspond to the better known Greek letters of Alpha and Omega; both are the first and last letter of their alphabets and symbolize the beginning and the end. This is the title that our all-encompassing, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, gave to himself. (Revelation 1:8) He wants all to know that He is the first and the last, the author and the perfecter, the originator and our goal.

As we lean into listen to God we must know that the only alphabet God uses and understands is where Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega. Remember that another name for Jesus is “The Word of God” If what we think we hear from God does not line up with who Jesus is, something has gone wrong.

Thirty-one days ago God was with you at the beginning of this Challenge and He is with you here at the end. Tomorrow is a new beginning and yes, God will be with you in that too, all the way to the end. God wants to daily speak to you through His Son (Hebrews 1:2). I offer you a new challenge to lean into the life of Jesus and you will better hear from the One True God. Then no matter what each day holds going forward, you can be assured of today’s Scripture promise.

Scripture Promise to claim: Isaiah 30:21 “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.”

Read the promise above; take time to invite him into all of your daily matters and trust in Him. Know that God has the authority and power to handle every issue. Bow before Him and ask Him to teach you about Jesus so He will be the “voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Listen and journal a prayer of response. Pray for those God puts on your heart that are either at the beginning or end of part of their life and need the encouragement of Him who is the Aleph and Tav, the Alpha and the Omega and always there in between.
