Prayer Challenge- Day 21

Day 21

Name of God to proclaim and focus your worship to: Shub Nephesh: (shoob) (neh’-fesh) Renewer of Life

It is spring! The season where we see this Name of God most clearly. Nephesh is a Biblical Hebrew word which literally means “breather”. Shub means to “to do again, to change, to withdraw, to bring back, to reestablish, to be returned, to take, to restore, to reward, to answer, to hinder.” Read those again. When Shub Nephesh breathes on us it does all of those things to renew our life. 2 Corinthians 4:16 says “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

He wants to renew our life, to give us eternal life—that is, a life that consists of knowing Him through Jesus Christ (see John 17:3). Because truly knowing Him is “life to the full” (John 10:10)

Scripture Promise to claim: Psalm 19:7 “The Law of the LORD is perfect; it gives us new life. His teachings last forever, and they give wisdom to ordinary people.

Read the promise above; First of all ask God to increase your delight in His word for by it your life is renewed. (Jer. 15:16) Then ask how He wants to renew your life today.
Listen and journal a prayer of response. Pray for those God puts on your heart that are in need of renewal. Those who may be grieving or may be struggling with suicidal thoughts that they would sense God renewing their life today.
