Prayer Challenge- Day 30

Day 30

Name of God to proclaim and focus your worship to: eheyeh ’asher ’eheyeh -I AM Who I AM

God gave this as His name to Moses in Exodus 3:14-15 and the Hebrew words are ehyeh asher ehyeh. Then God added an important point, He said “This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.” Therefore, throughout the Bible, God began statements about Himself with the Hebrew for “I Am.” Plus, Jesus did the same thing, most significantly in John 8:58 where He clearly proclaims that He is God by saying “Before Abraham was, I am.

What does it mean when you ask God who He is and He answers, I AM WHO I AM? It means He is saying to you and all your generations that He exists and His personality and power will never change. Everything, all power and energy, flows from Him.  He will be who you and your family need today and every day; “from everlasting to everlasting”! Because of this, will you choose to conform your life to His will each day?

Scripture Promise to claim: Psalm 103:17 “But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children”

Read the promise above; realize today that the same God who was with your ancestors will be with your children’s children! Ask God how He wants you to specifically pray for your family and future generations.

Listen and journal a prayer of response. Pray for those God puts on your heart that need salvation to flow through their generations so they can know the Great “I Am”
